Dr. Roberta Dahl Minister Church of the Divine Spirit, Spiritual Healer
I have always had the best of two worlds—the business and the world of metaphysics. I have a M.B.A and a Ph.D. with a triple major in the area of Research Methodology, Measurement and Statistics.During my early years in business, I headed up a successful market research and advertising agency.
After receiving, my Ph.D. Iworked at the national, regional, state and local levels for the improvement of social services, and educational opportunities as a Federal and State Evaluator for At-Risk Youth Programs. For over 10 years I have worked in association with the U.S. Department of Justiceand U.S. Department of Educationto developesearch based program models to address teenage substance abuse and juvenile delinquency in the Rio Grande Valley. I am one of the few professionals in the Valley to integrate needs assessment, research based program design, program evaluation, and spiritual healing modalities in the area of youth and adult drug prevention, intervention and treatment.
It has not been easy to integrate the real world with the spiritual world, especially for a female living in the macho Hispanic culture of South Texas. For example, during the 1990’s ,I was employed as a Program Evaluator in a Youth Substance Abuse Treatment Center in Brownsville, Texas. The program was based on A.A . principles and we frequently discussed spiritual topics during staff meetings. The counselors were aware that I had taken Spiritual Vows to devote my life totally to God. Aside from other things, I had vowed never to have children. One morning, during a staff meeting,a male Hispanic program counselor expressed his concerned over my eternal soul.He wondered how I was going to fulfill my life purpose as woman if I never had children .He wondered if God was going to forgive me .
I explained that the purpose of life was not only to create children but to create a new world based on Christ Consciousness and a new “ME” (i.e., born again, ascension). The highest form of Creation was to co-create with God … to rebirth this world.Needless to say the counselor just looked at me in bewilderment and walked away.
My path has always been “Spiritual”from birth. I was born in 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.An Indigo soul born into a Piscean Age. I incarnated into an psychic family. My family tree wasstrictly W.A.S.P.(White, Anglo, Saxon, Protestant: 1/2 English1/2 Scandinavian ).Both of my parents were interested in things like Atlantis, psychological development, andESP. My mother was a friend of Jeanne Dixon, and anatural clairvoyant. Every time a disaster would befall the family she had advance warnings. My mother had a regular spiritual guide, " Archangel Michael".Michael gave her advice on everything from the books we should read... to where we should live. She mediated regularly, was a inconsistent vegetarian and dealt in antiques from the Mideast .In 1964 She had a close encounter of third kind with a UFO and was regularly in contact with ET’s.
My father was a Design Engineer for General Motors with four Engineering Degrees and numerous patents. He believed in the theory of Ancient Astronauts and followed a religion of logic and science. Instead of bedtime stories, he read me books on philosophy, ancient civilizations, ESP and the power of mind over matter.ESP was seen as a natural ability in everyone that could be developed by controlling one's mind.He made psychic energy and parapsychology a normal part of my child development program.
I became aware of my own psychic abilities as a young child. At the age of 5, I was channeling and doing automatic writing. By the age of 7, I was astral projecting out of my body.
My mother started training me in meditation techniques and hatha yoga at age 10. By the time I was 14, I regularly channeled angels and was providing spiritual counseling to my classmates. As a youth, I excelled at very sport … tennis, baseball, ice skating, swimming, horseback riding, ballet. I took regional awardsspeed skating, horse back riding and swimming. Ilettered in field hockey during my high school years.. However, my major interest through outhigh school was on enhancing my Spiritual abilities.Igraduated high school with honors from Ferry Hall College Preparatory School in Lake Forest, Ill.
My first years of College(StephansCollegein Columbia, Mo) were spent studying world religions. At the age of 19 in 1970 I was acceptedinto a Zen Buddhist Monastery in Colorado. However, I never made it to the monastery. During this time, my mother received a message from the Blessed Virgin Mother saying my family was to leave Chicago (including me) and move to a special house, so we could help Mary's Children. The house was part of our Mission from God. The location of the house was not given, but my Mother received a drawing of the house through automatic writing.
For five years my mother traveled across the country with my father on business trips. She would show various people the drawing of the "special house". She would ask if they knew where it was located. After 5 years, a friend in Bayview, Texas recognized the house. The house was built in 1928, was said to be haunted, was deserted and was for sale. My parents bought the house and I moved to Texas in 1970 to fulfill my spiritual mission.
Immediately after relocating to Texas in 1970, I had a close encounter of a Third Kind with a UFO on the salt flats outside the City of Brownsville. The encounter involved a friend who was with me and was able to validatethe events that transpired. At this time, I meet the “Council”andwas given a brief overview of the “Things to Come”including“My Mission”.My spiritual development has always been guided by the “Other Side”. They enlightened me mentally, balanced me emotionally and healed me physically. In 1973, I was healed by the power of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ from an genetic disease. Likewise, my Father who was going blind in 1983, received a healing after a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mother. He regained his vision after this experience.
Since 1973, I have been exploring the many paths of Spiritual Healing.Over the years, I found myself getting farther away from the traditional church but closer to God, the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ and the divine feminineMy personal path is very universal and eclectic. I have studied under many masters of healing and been initiated into many spiritual healing traditions including:

In 2002, I quit my jobas a State and Federal Evaluator for At-Risk Youth Programs to devote my time to my spiritual path. At this time I was advised by the ”Council” to open a metaphysical meeting place to help with the vibrational shift of2012. I was told The Rio Grande Valley was one of the“Gathering Places” in the US for the 144,000personswho will usher in 2012. The Church of the Divine Spiritwas born. This is part of my cosmic contract . In 2010 I developed the Texas-Mexico Holistic Health Network to promote and support Holistic health Healers and Earth Friendly Retailers.
